Troop 415 typically camps about 10 months out of the year.

January - Boot Lake

What to bring on a campout 
"Be Prepared"  - Scout Motto

Dressed in Class A uniform mandatory to travel! (You’ll be sent home to get it!)

Boy Scout Handbook, pen/pencil, notebook (Put in a large zip lock to keep dry and clean!)

Firem'n Chit Card

Totin'Chip Card  (If you don't have one yet, you can earn it at camp!)

Folding pocket knife (Only if you have a Totin' Chip!) 

Sleeping bag

Flashlight 

Mess Kit – includes cup, bowl, plate, spoon, knife, fork, & canteen (water bottle)

Sleeping Pad

Rain Gear/Jacket

Personal gear – toothbrush & paste, comb, sun protection, washcloth/towel, soap!  (Personal gear must be stored in troop trailer to keep unwanted animals away from tents)

Clothing appropriate for the weather - layers is best! 

Extra things that are not required but just smart to have:

Small tarp to keep sleeping bag dry

 

It is a wise idea to put your name on gear!

 

Do Not Bring !  Pop ,Radios, Electronic Games, Firearms, Sling Shots, Matches, Sheath knife (a non-folding knife)

Also, card playing is fine, but no gambling.
